Sarah and Taylor’s Mount Falcon maternity session was my first session of the year and I couldn’t imagine a better shoot to kick off 2021. These two have been a huge part of my life the past 6 years. We all went to the same college and Sarah and I played soccer together all 4 years of school. I watched Sarah fall in love with Taylor, stood by her side as she said yes to forever with him, and now have gotten to cheer her on as she prepares for motherhood.

Sarah, Taylor, my husband and I had planned a ski trip out to Colorado right after the new year, and I just knew I had to document their maternity pictures in the Rockies. I had a vision of a simple, yet whimsical scene tied together with winter neutrals throughout the mountains and their outfits. I messaged Laura Gravina with a few ideas for Sarah’s hair and she absolutely NAILED what I had in mind.

Right when we got to Mount Falcon, the sun dipped behind the clouds and any sort of warmth went away, but Sarah and Taylor handled the cold like champs. Eventually the sun made an appearance again and I was able to capture the dreamiest golden images to complete one of my favorite maternity shoots of all time. I’m so thankful for these two and couldn’t be more in love with these photos. Cannot wait to meet baby Fleisher!
