It is always an honor when clients ask me to document multiple seasons of their life. The first time I hung out with these two, Finn was in Rochelle’s belly. This time I got to meet him as a soon to be 1 year old—full of personality and all smiles. I met this sweet family at Nash Farm battlefield in Georgia on a Sunday afternoon and had the best time documenting their love for each other and their sweet boy.

Rochelle and Casey exude so much genuine joy and warmth—you just instantly want to be their friend. My goal was to reflect that through these images and to capture all the feelings that come with their attempting to hold on to every precious second in the first year of Finn’s life.

Below are some of my favorite frames of them exploring Nash Farm, laughing with Finn, and soaking in being a family of 3. Already planning on visiting and documenting them out west where they currently live and I can’t wait for that day.
