Collaborating with other artists is one of my favorite things to do, and I’m so excited to share images from this spring school house bridal editorial my incredible photographer friend Haley and I had been dreaming up for months. We wanted to create two different looks—one with a mini dress (school girl turned bride) and another with a long, whimsical gown. As soon as we saw The School House Venue in Greenville, we knew it would be perfect for both looks. The venue served as a real schoolhouse for 41 years until it was recently renovated and preserved with many of the original features still intact—simply amazing. The original wood flooring and brick pillars added the perfect amount of warmth and texture to the light and airy spring flowers and dresses.

Rachel created two of the most beautiful floral installations I have ever seen—essentially turning the school house floor into a garden blooming with yellows, pinks and oranges. Some of the florals she literally brought in from her own garden! Sophie and Logan made the perfect spring brides—completing the look and bringing our vision to life. The whole editorial turned out better than we could have imagined, thanks to our incredible dream team of vendors.
