Breelan and Rory somehow brought spring to their January wedding at The Foxglove in Marietta, Georgia. Everything from the weather to the bright florals Breelan so perfectly chose had me convinced I was shooting in the middle of May. The Foxglove venue provided the most perfect blank slate for the couple’s whimsical, timeless and colorful vision. Located right off of the town square, the small town, easy going atmosphere created a magical, intimate space for the couple to commit their lives to one another.
After getting ready, Breelan and Rory shared the sweetest first look out in front of The Foxglove as people passing by on the street cheered them on. They joined their bridal party before the ceremony and we ran around the square, laughing, snapping photos and waving to the people around us.
In the late afternoon, the two said their vows in the courtyard of the Foxglove under a colorful floral arbor created by the incredible 89th and Autumn. One of my favorite parts of the ceremony was when Breelan and Rory took a minute to turn back and look at their guests—soaking in the faces of everyone who traveled there to celebrate them.
After the ceremony, the guests enjoyed charcuterie and drinks at a sunset cocktail hour, while I documented the two, newly married. To end the evening, Breelan and Rory joined their guests for an intimate reception where toasts and dances were shared under string lights. Halfway through the reception, we snuck out for some fun flash portraits in one of the rooms at the Foxglove. Of course, these ended up being some of my favorite photos from the evening! Their magical day ended with a last private dance and sparkler exit into forever—surrounded by all the people they love.
